I once heard a Texas oil tycon say, after he had lost everythnig, that things are looking up. When the interviewer asked what he meant by that, the tycon said that when you are down on your luck and flat on your back, the only way you can look is up.

That would be my advise to any one who has been cut loose due to downsizing. Sure you will be frantic and think what in the world can you do now. But don't loose faith.

There are opportunities everywhere you look. You can search for another job but will it produce the same level of income you were making? Don't waste too much time searching for something that may not be there, rather search within yourself to find what you really would li

ke to do.
