It is a great way for them to get together with their classmates and friends to spend a few hours together in a fun and exciting environment. Skating is considered an art and it is a great way for kids to show-off their talents.

Some organizations even rent skating rings for an all night lock down skating party. When this is done, only the kids from the selected groups are invited and will be allowed in the skating ring after a certain time. After this time the doors are locked until the next morning. This way the kids inside are kept safe throughout the night. Of course, these events are heavily supervised and food and drinks are provided.
