I admit I do not have the answer to any one of the many problems that face our nation but what I do know is what we are doing is not the answer. Red tape and money makes too many decisions in our country. I challenge Politicians and others including Economic Majors, Business Tycoons, and anyone who may have good and logical ideas to fix the downward spiral of America. All I can vouch for is what is happening in my life and the lives of people I know and read about and it is not very good. I cannot afford to drive my car, pay for health insurance, and buy groceries. You are looking at $163.00 per week or $706.00 per month on just these 3 things and it does not include rent or a mortgage payment. I am an educated female with a B.A. in Business and cannot find employment. Yes, I know, I can leave credentials off my resume so I am not over qualified and get a retail position in numerous places that pay around minimum wage. This should at least cover the 3 bills mentioned earlier but what about the mortgage and utilities? It appears this is why so many people are loosing their homes.So in one paragraph I have covered unemployment, a retail environment, home foreclosures, and the price of necessities such as fuel for transportation and groceries, and the cost of health insurance. Between wars and economic issues every single person has been effected some how. I therefore challenge Politicians or anyone to fix some of the things happening, to listen to ideas of others, to forget about if you vote for this I will vote for that, to stop with hidden agendas in issues that are voted on, to stop lobbyist from ruling the country and billions of dollars being spent on one persons run for Presidency. Someone has the answer to at least one of these issues.
